Do you have questions for us? Just ask...we will do our best to help in whatever way we can.

We as Americans are very fortunate to live in these great United States. No matter how tough we may think life is sometimes, we are still better off than 90% of the world. Sky Prosthetics, Inc. feels that it is important to share with our friends around the world when we are able. Here is how you can help.

Currently, Sky Prosthetics Inc. is working with Physicians for Peace to build a prosthetics laboratory in the Hospital Infantil de Infectologia y Rehabilitacion in Guatemala City. In our meeting with Guatemala's First Lady, Wendy de Berger (pictured above) we gained the Guatemalan government's support. Now all we need is your financial backing. Your tax-deductible donation would be greatly appreciated. Donate at HERE Please designate your donation to "Walking Free Guatemala".
HOW IT ALL STARTED:
In 2004 Sky Prosthetics started working with the non-profit group, A Tomorrow for the Children. Their main focus was helping children with cancer in developing countries. Sky Prosthetics made three trips delivering medical supplies to Unidad Nacional de Oncologia Pediatrica Hospital in Guatemala City. We also fit children with prostheses made from components donated by prosthetic component manufactures Otto Bock and Knit Rite.
At an international conference in Antigua, we began our relationship with the non-profit group Physicians for Peace's Walking Free program. Physicians for Peace has many different medical programs that are very accomplished. The Walking Free program's focuses on building and educating self-sustainable prosthetic laboratories in developing countries. Physicians for Peace founder Dr. Charles E. Horton said it best, "if your heal someone, you help one person. If you teach someone to heal, you help many."
